| Easy Tasks • If someone wanted to maintain the TeX catalogue and periodically upload a new version to the website, that would be great. All that's required is familiarity with the Terminal, and installation of PyXML. • Online help (could be fairly minimal, since the app doesn't do much) • Overall UI polish More Difficult Tasks • The MikTeX install code really needs support for MikTeX's versioning scheme, and tracking which packages have been installed. • MikTeX installation should also use the library version of cabextract, rather than wrapping the CLI tool with NSTask. NOTE: even the more difficult tasks really would be fairly simple for someone with limited Cocoa experience. The codebase is really small and fairly straightforward to work with, and I’d be happy to answer questions or make suggestions! | |||
